I have been enjoying the events at St. Patrick's in Merced more and more. It is endless the transformations that can happen each event. Patricia and her coordinator Jennifer from Devinely Orchestrated Events were such a pleasure to work with. I first met with Patricia in January with my newborn baby. It was a breeze to discuss ideas with her because as she told me a couple days before her wedding, she has always dreamed of this day and what she wants it to look like.
She has kicked off the gold trend. I first questioned her using the gold candleabras because they have been hard to come by and she stuck with it. They located a rental company to supply them, Town and Country Party Rentals, and now, everyone is going gold!! The other rental items such as linens, chairs, chargers, etc were supplied by Liz from Classic Party Rentals.

Sugar Pine Railroad

Listen up my Yosemite area loving brides. If you are looking for something different and rustic....this was the best idea to capture the peace of nature and involving everyone in your wedding to an area where only animals could interupt.
When I began working with Jennifer, she had very simple and elegant ideas with the thought her ceremony and reception was being held at the Narrow Gauge Inn. Weeks later, she had a change of plans and decided they were going rustic and moved the ceremony location to the Sugar Pine Railroad.
Although I have had some pretty crazy circumstances to endure during the wedding process, I would never imagine I would be off roading for 10 miles to get deep into the Sierras.
The Sugar Pine Railroad is just a quick walk from the Narrow Gauge off of Hwy 41 and Jennifer had reserved the 20 minute private train ride to drop off all guests at a simple ampitheater for the ceremony. Shortly after, she was dropped off by a Jenny Car. It set the tone for the most fantastic mountain wedding!!
